Microsoft Expands Global Engineering Footprint to UAE
Microsoft has announced the expansion of its Global Engineering Development Center to Abu Dhabi, UAE. This new center, one of the first engineering hubs in the Arab world, will focus on creating AI innovations, cloud technologies, and advanced cybersecurity solutions. The move strengthens the UAE’s position as a global tech innovation hub and builds upon Microsoft’s strategic partnership with G42.

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized Abu Dhabi’s role in leading global AI efforts, while Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella highlighted the company’s commitment to driving economic growth and job creation in the UAE and beyond.

The new center will also:
